Bonded Auto has been providing professional starter and alternator repair services to the Down East communities of Maine and beyond for over 40 years. The industries we serve include marine, automotive, agricultural, construction, off-road recreation, antique vehicles and many more. The majority of our work focuses on starters and alternators but we also service DC generators, hydraulic pump motors, winch motors, bow thruster and windlass motors on boats, and various other DC voltage units.

Pricing: We evaluate each job individually for free, and determine a price for repair or replacement if necessary. If the customer agrees with the price and estimated timeframe, we move forward with the repair. If the customer is not happy with the quote, we return the item to them at no charge. There are no set prices for repairs since each one is unique and a complete unknown until we have it in our shop to evaluate it.
